Nikos Romanos, Andreas – Dimitris Bourzoukos, Giannis Mihailidis and Dimitris Politis were arrested after a car chase on 01/02/2013 after the double robbery at a branch on National Post office and at a branch of Agriculture Bank, in Venvento, Kozani. In addition, Nikos Romanos and Giannis Mihailidis are accused for the case of the two houses in Volos and Kalithea, Giannis Mihailidis and Dimitris Politis for the robbery at a branch of Agriculture Bank in Filotas, Florina and Giannis Mihailidis is accused for the case of the gunfight with cops in Pefki.
Nikos Romanos has claimed responsibility for his participation in the anarchist incendiary groups FAI-Fires on the Horizon, FAI-Unit Fire to the Galleys, and Militant Minority but denies any participation in the group Flaming Shadows, for which he is also accused.
Foivos Ηarisis and Argyrhs Dalios were arrested on 20/04/2013 in Nea Filadelphia, Athens and are also accused for the robbery. Argyris and Foivos deny the accusations and are their prosecution is based solely on DNA samples collected from the area where the robbery took place. Argyris Dalios is also accused for the case of the two houses in Volos and Kalithea and along with Foivos Harisis for the robbery at a branch of Agriculture Bank in Filotas, Florina.
All six are also accused of being members of CCF, something that both they and CCF deny.
The trial for Velvedo case has started on 30/11/2013 and has finished on 01/10/2014. The comrades were sentenced for commiting the double robbery but were acquitted of the charge of participation in the CCF. More specificaly the sentences are:
G. Mihailidis: 16 years, 4 months and 10 days
N. Romanos: 15 years and 10 months
A. D. Bourzoukos, A. Dalios and F. Harisis: 15 years and 11 months
D. Politis: 11 years and 5 months
The trial for all the other cases has started on 03/02/2014.
